St.Audries Park

From the Orangery or Church to the banqueting hall and all the inbetweens, Where's best to decorate at St.Audries for maximum floral effect for your budget? The Ceremony – The ceremony is held either in the Victorian orangery or in St. Etheldreda’s Church at the top of the drive. St. Etheldreda’s Church Dress the church entrance - to set the scene for your wedding as your guests arrive and to add a floral touch to those ‘just married’ photographs on leaving the church. Pew ends – dressing the ends of pews with flowers is the perfect way to create a feature of the aisle. Decorate the end pairs with luxury arrangements, opt for a more flowery look by embellishing every other pew or go all out and decorate all pews, there are so many options. Pedestal arrangements – large free standing floral arrangements work beautifully at the church; they can be used in the key areas of the ceremony adding floral drama that can later be reused down at the house for the reception! The Orangery The stunning Victorian Orangery set in the grounds of the main house is a truly beautiful setting for your Ceremony. A wonderfully light blank canvas. Ceremony Table – All eyes will be on this area and many a photo taken, adorn the tabletop with a design that can be repurposed as your top table. Alternatively dress the base of the table with a natural design that seems to grow upwards from the floor in front of the ceremony table. Pillars – your floral budget is well spent on embellishing the pillars with foliage or florals. Adding that natural element to the room, trailing from the ceiling, or growing from the ground, decorating a few or many, there are so many options to choose from. Aisle – add a floral touch with foliage, petals, or plants to line the aisle. Add miniature posies to the chairs or lanterns. Use larger scale designs at the base of the pillars that could then be reused elsewhere. Arch - a real statement piece to have in the orangery is a foliage or floral arch placed behind the ceremony table, if your budget allows, this makes a real focal for those photos during or even after the ceremony. Pedestals – A more versatile way of adding floral oomph to the orangery that can be easily reused inside the house for your reception. Confetti - We offer loose fresh flower petal confetti or those all-important ‘just married’ confetti shots! It perfectly matches your theme, it’s great value, photographs well and is biodegradable. The Reception The table flowers - Here is where we suggest you concentrate your budget, the floral focus for your guests during the wedding reception are the flowers right in front of them. This room suits both low, intimate designs or tall, striking arrangements or even a mix of both! The top table - can be embellished with the design from the ceremony table or an alternative style to match your tables, especially if opting for a round or sweetheart table. The mantelpiece - can be dressed with a stunning bespoke arrangement or with vases filled with the bridal party flowers and some extra blooms and foliage. The chandeliers – are already glamorous, but have you thought about dressing them with cascading foliage or flowers? The Cake – fresh flowers look amazing on your cake, we can provide clusters, mini arrangements, or a box individual blooms to embellish where needed. The Staircase – an absolute must if budget allows is to adorn the stairs with flowers, so many photographs are taken here, the bride and her father on the way to the wedding, her bridesmaids attending. The happy couple freshly married, the wedding party shots, the family shots, the throwing of the bouquet shots. Adding blooms makes those photographs even more special!
