Crowcombe

Find out how to transform this beautiful blank canvas of a venue with some artfully chosen floral arrangements to add warmth and personality to your wedding ... The Ceremony is often held in the heart of Crowcombe house, a beautiful light and airy room with tall ceilings and a neutral colour pallet, it really benefits from the addition of some stunning florals. The mantelpiece – One of our favourite places to adorn with flowers, it looks fabulous with a central design or a floral arrangement either side and a scattering of candlelight. These flowers will feature in many of your photographers ceremony shots adding warmth and character to your wedding photographs. The Staircase – an absolute must if budget allows is to adorn the stairs with flowers, foliage or both. So many photographs are taken here, the bride and her father on the way to the wedding, her bridesmaids attending. The happy couple freshly married, the wedding party shots, the family shots, the throwing of the bouquet shots. Adding blooms makes those photographs even more special! Ceremony Area – All eyes will be on this area and many a photo taken, adorn the tabletop with a design that can be repurposed as your top table. Alternatively dress the base of the table with a natural design that seems to grow upwards from the floor in front of the ceremony table. Pedestals – Add floral oomph to the entrance doors or either side of the ceremony table/area with a pair of pedestals or even a broken arch design. These can be moved after the ceremony should you wish to decorate another area of the house. Aisle – add a elegant touch with flowers, foliage, petals or candlelight to line the aisle, add miniature posies to the chairs, larger scale designs could be repurposed for tables. Confetti - We offer loose fresh flower petal confetti or those all-important ‘just married’ confetti shots! It perfectly matches your theme, it’s great value, photographs well and is biodegradable. Outdoor Ceremony Gazebo – Dress either side with a broken arch style design in flowers/foliages, add an arrangement to the ceremony table. Adorn above the entrance with a swathe of flowers/foliage. Aisle – As in the house adding posies to chairs works well outside as does some larger scale floral arrangements along the aisles edge. Steer clear of petals and loosely placed flowers/foliage, one gust of wind will destroy it. The Ballroom Room - Reception The table flowers - here is where we suggest you concentrate some of your budget, the floral focus for your guests during the wedding reception are the flowers right in front of them. This room suits both low, intimate designs or tall, striking arrangements or even a mix of both! The top table - can be embellished with the design from the ceremony table or an alternative style to match your tables, especially if opting for a round or sweetheart table. The Cake – fresh flowers or foliage look amazing on your cake, we can provide clusters, mini arrangements, or a box of individual blooms to embellish where needed.
